Why women’s trips?

The truth is, the idea came to me a long, long time ago. In the 5 years that I lived with my family in Bangkok, I used to send the kids to school and kindergarten in the morning and go out to wander around the city. I never planned too much, I just went out to a different area of ​​the city each time, enjoying wandering the streets between the alleys, usually discovering a local market in some corner, a hidden neighborhood temple, tasting a food stall that came my way and chatting with the locals.

So during my wanderings, when I was all excited about everything I was experiencing and seeing, I started thinking about how much fun it would be if a friend or even a few friends joined me, to experience all this good and special stuff together. I even wrote plans and itineraries, but they went into a drawer and with them the germ.

The years passed… we returned to Israel and I was drawn back into organizing and planning private trips to Asia.

To bring my travelers reliable and extensive information, to know more about the sites I send them to, I often travel to the destinations I work in to see and check with my own eyes. Every time I return, I miss it, I enjoy traveling so much whether it’s in Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, India, Japan, experiencing new experiences and meeting the people I work with. When I return home and share friends, the reactions are always: “When will you take me with you?”, “Aren’t you bored alone?”, “How do you manage to get to all these special corners?”.

These responses awakened in me that dormant germ that had been left in the drawer, and I decided that the time had come and the conditions were ripe for women’s trips in the spirit of traveling the way I love to travel.

My women’s groups are small, so that we can wander the streets like a group of friends, where possible we will use public transportation, so that we can reach small and hidden places, stay in locals’ homes, eat in small local restaurants, reach all the authentic corners and less touristy sites, get to know the locals up close in a way that each one will feel like they are traveling on their own private trip.
