Planning family trips

Family trips to Asia

Despite a growing trend, many traveling families are still hesitant to “touch” Asia, why? It’s different, different, we don’t know what to expect, other faces, different customs that are unfamiliar to us, smells, tastes, transportation, how will we communicate with the locals? Will the kids have fun? What will they eat? Maybe they’ll get bored..

But the wonder of it all is that it is precisely these that make the experience of traveling in the East different and unforgettable for both young and old.

A family trip to Asia is a different and unique experience, one that brings together, provides quality family time, and the accumulation of many shared experiences that will accompany you long after the trip is over.

Today, Thailand is the most popular destination among Asian countries for family trips. Thailand is known for its very warm hospitality towards tourists, a combination of modern cities with amazing shopping centers, lively night markets, breathtaking nature and landscapes, wonderful extreme attractions, unique wildlife, picturesque islands and beaches, all of which create a charming vacation.

Who is my service suitable for?

For families – families traveling alone, and sometimes several families coming together – we will tailor the tours, the amount of travel and activities for all participants, the ages of the children, the areas of interest common to all, and the level of difficulty.

The fifty-plus (50+) club and retirees – on the one hand, we don’t feel like traveling in a group, on the other hand, we’ve already done the backpacking trip after the army, we want to be comfortable and safe and reach all the “nooks” and magical little places, those off the beaten tourist routes, get closer to the locals, get to know them up close.

For the traditional and religious – Chabad houses are spread throughout much of the Far Eastern countries. Trips can be planned in a way that takes into account Shabbat and the need for kosher food. With proper planning and organization in advance, you can travel without restriction to any area you desire.

All of this is possible on a private, organized independent trip, with your own car and guide, and in comfortable accommodations.

In countries like Vietnam, China, or India, we offer equally exotic and authentic experiences, fascinating for all ages and also a destination for a particularly experiential family trip, while adapting the attractions and nature of the trip to each family.

How do you travel and move from place to place?

With an English-speaking driver and guide accompanying you throughout the trip, you can make the most of the time you have available. The guide is there for any questions and will help you get to know the country firsthand, emphasizing favorite places.

Where to sleep?

In most Asian countries, there is a large and diverse supply of hotels and lodges at all levels and in a variety of prices, and all that remains is to choose the hotel that best suits your needs with our help.

Food – “My child is spoiled with food” so what do they eat?

No one goes hungry in Asia, alongside the exquisite exotic Asian food, there is an abundance of amazing tropical fruits that even children cannot resist. White rice will be served at every meal and many restaurants will know how to make French fries and spaghetti. This is in addition to the McDonald’s Kentucky and Pizza outlets that are mostly spread throughout the country.

Safety – Is it safe to walk around with children?

Always and at any given moment, you must pay attention to where your child is! It is very easy to get lost in the crowds. In crowded and crowded places, you should make sure to hold hands and have the children carry your phone number (local SIM) and the hotel card where you are staying around their necks or in their pockets. It is recommended to talk to the children and formulate safety rules. There is no need to panic or stress if you adhere to safety rules and there is no fear of violence or aggression on the streets. It is important to note that there is no obligation to have safety seats in cars, so it is recommended to bring them from Israel and ask where possible for the vehicles to have seat belts, to which the safety seats can be attached, or at least buckle up the older children.

What are you packing?

Packing for a trip to Asia in general and Thailand in particular is simple. It will usually be hot except in high and mountainous places where, depending on the season, you will need something warm for the evening. It is recommended to pack several sets of light clothes, assuming that you can wash them anywhere, whether in a hotel or at a nearby local laundromat for a small fee. Formal clothing is hardly required. (Unless you want to spend time in a nightclub or upgraded bar where a dress code is sometimes required and children are not always allowed in).
For a large part of the year, you are most likely to encounter rain. For this purpose, it is recommended to have an umbrella or raincoat with you at all times, although it can also be pleasant to get wet in the summer rains, which will refresh the body from the heat and humidity.
It is recommended to have “accessories” that will pass the time on flights or trips – workbooks, books, portable DVDs, games, etc.
It is recommended to have a stroller for babies, but also for children aged 2-4, because they will have difficulty walking on long days of travel and tours.

Health – Exotic regions, how to enjoy the trip and stay healthy?

Traveling to exotic and developing regions accompanied by children is not an uncommon sight today. As part of planning the trip and preparing for the trip, it is recommended to seek proper advice from the Ministry of Health or a travel clinic at least two to three months before the trip. Before the trip, we will provide you with all the information you need to prepare for the trip and the trip itself.
