Planning a trip to Thailand
One of the secrets to Thailand’s charms are the smiling people! Wherever you go in this amazing country you are greeted with a smile, kindness and a desire to help.
Thailand was never colonized or ruled by the western powers and has always remained independent. This can be seen in how traditional Thailand is to today. There is so much to experience in this fascinating country from the mountains in the north where the “Hill Tribes” live, the fertile valleys, the rice plains in the center, the agriculture areas in the east and northeast, the golden beaches with palm trees in the southern islands, national parks, rafting in the river, the tastes and smells… And so much more!
Bangkok is a huge metropolis with over 10 million people calling it their home. A non-stop city, with everything from the ordinary to the unusual, ancient and new, traditional and modern all coexisting together.
Thailand’s tropical climate makes it an attractive destination all year!
The winter months (October to March) are the dry season and less hot and humid, April-May are the warmest months and not very rainy. June to October is the rainy season, hot and humid, but the rain breaks up the humidity.
